Temporary swelling, sensitivity, soreness or bruising may occur in the treated area after the procedure. Your specialist will provide detailed aftercare and recovery instructions during your consultation.
Important aftercare information
After your miraDry® treatment, it is important to give the treated area time to recover. Please follow these recommendations.
Sauna and solarium
Avoid sauna and solarium use for 6 days after the procedure.
Sun exposure
Avoid heavy sunbathing and intense sun exposure for 6 days after the procedure.
Exercise
Avoid strenuous exercise for 6 days after the procedure.
Shaving
Avoid shaving the treated area for 5 days after the procedure.
Cleaning
Clean the treated area using only water and a mild soap.
Soreness and swelling
Ice may be used after the procedure. Ibuprofen is recommended for 24–48 hours after treatment according to your specialist’s instructions.
Always follow the individual aftercare instructions provided by your treating specialist. If your symptoms are severe, worsen, or cause concern, contact the clinic.
